FATHERS June 7

We are on day 7; (Fathers June 7). If we take the time to think about this; Our Heavenly Father wasn’t having a conversation with Himself. It was a conversation between Himself and Jesus. Their conversation wasn’t just an idea either. They had come to a decision and purposely decided to make / create “man“. Man was going to be made after Their image and after Their likeness; and it would be Man who would be given the power and authority to operate and behave just like Them. MAN that was created, was made; to look and act and behave like them.

Gen 1:26-28  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. vs 27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female crea power punch 316605 1280ted he them. vs 28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Power and authority

God created Adam with anointing, power and authority and he was perfect in every way. He was also given the ability to carry it out; being he was the MAN. This anointing was an automatic anointing, stemming from the commandment that The Lord God had given him; because, with the position came the power and authority to carry this role out.

Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

MAN was given the power and authority to rule over and be in charge of what God had created and then what he had been given. God gave MAN the responsibility to reproduce, increase and multiply with what he had been given. To subdue, dominate and have dominion over what was given to him. This means that he must always be alert, be aware of and pay attention to what is going on in his garden. He as not supposed to; “pass the buck”, nor have  passivity in operation; it was his job to “keep and tend the garden”. Which simply means he was to guard  it, protect it and take care of it.
