Made in the Image

Today’s discussion is about Made in the Image; June 7. When we think about it. Our Heavenly Father wasn’t having a conversation with just Himself. He was having a conversation between; Himself and Jesus. Their conversation wasn’t just an idea either. They had come to a decision and purposely decided to make / create “man“. This Man Adam, was made after Their image and after Their likeness; and it was this Man; who was also given; the power and authority to operate and behave just like Them.

Gen 1:26-28  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. vs 27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. vs 28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Anointing

God created Adam; and he was perfect in every way. The ability to operate this way was an automatic anointing; stemming from the commandment that The Lord God had given him. Therefore, with the position; also, came the power and authority to carry this role out.

Gen 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

MAN was given the power and authority, to rule over and be in charge of what God had created; and all that God had entrusted to him. God gave MAN the responsibility to: reproduce, increase and multiply with; and to also; subdue, dominate and have dominion over what was given to him. This means that; he must always be alert, be aware of and pay attention to what is going on in his garden. It was his job to; “keep and tend the garden”. Which simply means; he was to guard it, protect it and take care of it.
