ANOINTED To be THE HEAD over pt 1
When I think of the characteristics and nature of Our Heavenly Father; I think of: power and authority; and the power and authority to make decisions and to also be able to “back it up”. In order to operate within this kind of mindset; you would have to consider yourself; not just The Head, but The Head of all things / or as some would say ” The Head Man in charge”.
When God / Jesus speak it happens. They are trustworthy. What They say They mean and They mean what They say. You don’t argue with Them and think that you can get away with it. Disobedience and rebellion are not tolerated. With this power and authority comes glory, honor, strength and great respect. God / Jesus have proven Themselves consistent in Their ways.
Leaders
Operating with this headship and leadership mindset; would carry with it much courage, strength, resilience and dedication. God / Jesus are strict with rules and have laid firm boundaries down with which we are expected to follow; but its because They love us very much and They know that these rules and standards are for our peace, protection, and safety. God / Jesus aren’t being mean, domineering, demanding or abusive in Their ways, its just that if we don’t follow these rule and standards; we open ourselves up to attacks from the enemy and therefore, we put ourselves in harms way. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus have an overwhelming sense of protection for us.
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Everything that God and Jesus has done is for our good and They only want good things for us; so anything that the WORD of God says we are to do and say; is only to help us to grow and mature into Their image and after Their likeness. Their whole goal and aim is to help us to become like Them; To think, walk, talk and behave like God and Jesus.
It always works out to the family’s good, when the Head of the house is operating and functioning his house with this mindset. When God is 1st place in his life; and the MAN / The head is getting his directions from his HEAD / JESUS and then he is putting into effect all the plans and directions that he has been given; there is order, peace and protection covering his family, because he is operating as THE HEAD. Everything starts at the HEAD.
1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
